I've been trying some things... Works fine for me. I cannot reproduce the issue. That is, if i stayed within the limits for the sidebar. If the ad, one or more, got too wide the issue as you describe it would appear.

Did you also try the mentioned thread? What was the result? Also, which banner is causing it, the 3rd or 4th?

I am having trouble getting my sidebar ads displayed. It was fairly easy to get things started with the 480X60 banner ad that is already shown and available on site. I am not very familiar with html code so am getting confused on some of the instructions. I would appreciate any help in getting rolling. My goals are just to get up a few side bar banner ads on the site. Thank you for your help. Brandon

Hello, i installed Wordpress and the events-plugin. All works fine (sidebar, eg.). But on the event-page render Wordpress a pre html-tag on the top of the list. Whats wrong? Thx for Help!

I don't see how that helps me. The error you were having at first should be discussed with your webhost. The slashes are explained and is not something i can fix. Thanks though.

You're on a windows server then? Or have magic quotes on? I do not test any of my code on windows servers and often the slashes thing happens there. That's a quirk in windows. gpc_magic_quotes can be turned off in php.ini of your configuration and is wise to disable. However, not the cause of your initial problem. The initial problem is usually caused by a bad script. I do test my code on that and am fairly certain events is not the cause.

Hi Arnan, I am developing and running two websites. One is a testing site for the other which is in production running. Both are hosted on the same server, both use the same WP and plugins and so on. When trying the same when working with Events/Settings/Template/Update settings on the production site, everything is absolutely OK. Besides that, a few days ago on the developing site on the form Event Settings/Template for in the field Page, today's list/Default title the following character string appeared: "Today\\\\\\\\\\\\...\\\'s events", where "..." stands for huge number of \'s. I copied the string to a file which I attach to this post. Your plugin Events is otherwise very good and useful for my site so I would very like this problem to be solved.

A script on your server causes the memory to overflow. Contact your webhost with this exact error. This is not nessesarily something your site does. But a script on that server causes it.

Very strange behaviour of this form. After making changes in some fields and pressing Update Options the process freezes for long while and then browser returns message: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 57671680 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 3495104 bytes) in /home/users/prause/jpretired.hys.cz/web/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 529

I can't test now, my DNS is all screwed up due to the server move. HOwever, on my main site <a href="http://meandmymac.net" rel="nofollow">http://meandmymac.net</a> you can see the tag cloud and i use events. The tags have all sizes there. So in a way i have already tested this :)

perhaps there are some characters in the file name or something that cause this. Remove all spaces and strange characters. Check the error logs. Otherwise i have no idea. Haven't encountered this.

Thanks for testing. Could you please try again with a few more tags so that the tags will appear in different font-sizes (at least 3 different sizes). As written in my first post all entrys have the same size expect one entry (this is in biggest size). In your example it could be the same issue because there are only two different sizes... Thanks a lot
