Thanks for this wonderful plugin. I have it installed on Hostgator using WP 2.8.5. Everythign works fine, including the views/how many times the ad has been shown, but no clicks are being registered. I didnt find anything on the forum with a similar thread, so I started this one.

I am hoping it is a simple fix and won't consume too much of your time.

Btw, hwo does one doante? Is there a minimum or maximum amount?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Arnan

Can you please explain how to enable click stats? I can see where it is in the control panel but I don't understand what needs to be done to make it work?

    Love the plug-in though!

    Thanks.

    Hey, thanks, Arnan.

Unfortunately, I must be dumber than I look. I had already read http://meandmymac.net/plugins/adrotate/2/ and still don't understand what to do.

But it's so simple. in the ad instead of the url you want to track use %link% and the url you want to track is filled in in the field and the box ticked.

    That's it.

Arnan, it is so simple if you are a programmer, if you don´t know ANY thing (like me.. is kite difficult)
I spend almost 50 minutes trying every single possibility, and I got it, I was so relieved that I wanted to share it.

you NO-programmers what you have to do if you want clikc to be enabled is to put in the CODE Window this

    a href="%link%">
    <img src=%image%>

(you should open the first <> of href (I can not write it other wise everything becomes blue)

and then upload the image to the folder
    /wp/wpcontent/banners/

your images (make sure they are 755 in the permissions and you will be able to see them in the drop down list.

Perhaps a suggestion could be that if you click the click enable, automatically write the code for you.

ah, another suggestion from the wizard is impossible to enable the clicks either.

cheers and kudos for the good work.

I seriously do not believe that it is simple because i am a programmer. In fact you 2 are one of the few asking about this feature while many use it :)

The wizard cannot add clicks because it's meant to be simple and easy and simple and easy.

Eureka! I have the stats sorted out. I finally managed to work it out for myself.

I love the plug-in, it works very well, but sorry Arnan, I still couldn't grasp your instructions.

As I said previously, I must be dumber than I look.

I used the code with href="%link%" and img src="%image%".

    The banners folder is 755.

Then, I typed the url I want to track is filled in in the field and the box ticked.

    Result:

It´s count only the first click.

What´s happening ? Are there restrictions like same IP, same date, etc ?

ARev: How is this related to this thread... next time start a new one...

Anyway, it has a IP counter in it. each ip only registers one click per 24 hours. This is to prevent false clicks.
